Fully resourced sewing group open to all from novices to life-time sewers. Stocked with everything you could possibly need to create something you’d be proud to say “I made that”. We’re definitely into recycling.
If you have a sewing machine then bring it along, if you don’t we’ve a whole range for you to use, including an overlocker.
Friendly atmosphere where everyone shares their skills and knowledge.
Opening hours: Tuesdays - 10:30am-12:30pm, 1:30pm-3:30pm and 6:30pm-8:30pm.

Care UK

We are a small charity with donation stations and retail units in Northwich and Warrington. The began in 2015 in response to the Refugee crisis in Syria and Greece. Teaming up with Syria Relief in Manchester, we began to send containers of aid to Greece culled from the enormous number of donations that we received. To date we have sent 47 containers of aid to Syria, mainland Greece or the Greek Islands.
As the Charity has evolved local needs have become more apparent and we have established, or are in the process of establishing, links with statutory agencies to support local people who have been allocated a home, Refugees granted settlement status or those in need of basic items for babies and children We have a constant requirement for volunteer time and skills.

Catalyst Choices

Catalyst Choices social services support older adults, adults with dementia and adults with learning disabilities and autism to live well in our Warrington Community. Catalyst Choices provides a broad range of varied and quality services ranging from community support including shared lives, day care opportunities and respite support to supported tenancies and residential care, with excellent facilities across our CQC registered services.

Changing Lives in Cheshire (Warrington)

Changing Lives in Cheshire (CLiC) is a social enterprise
committed to delivering real environmental, social and
community impact and making a difference to the people
of Cheshire. We provide creative solutions to social and
environmental issues. Structured as a charitable
company, we aim to be financially sustainable through
enterprise but our social impacts (the way we help
change people’s lives) are at the core of why we do
what we do.

Changing Lives in Warrington is a partnership between Changing Lives in Cheshire and Total Reuse CIC who sell pre-loved furniture and electrical items.

Chapeltots Mother and Toddler Group

Chapeltots is our parent and toddler group. Meeting during school term time only. There are lots of toys for the children to play with, time to chat with other parents whilst enjoying tea/coffee and some toast. This is a church affiliated group run by volunteers attending Stockton Heath Fellowship.

Chapeltots meet at the Church Hall, Chapel Lane on Wednesday morning at 10am.

Chat n Chill

If you are aged 11-16 then Chat and Chill is for you. Its a weekly event for young people – you can play games, join us activities or simply chat and chill! There’s games, a tuck shop and computers for games or even homework.

Chat and Chill meets every Wednesday evening from 7:30 - 9:00.

Chatterbox

Chatterbox is a fun filled play session to develop your child's speech and language skills.

For parents/carers with children aged from 12 months to 2 and a half years old.

Through fun activities, your child will learn early communication skills including:

- Listening and Attention
- Imitation/Copying
- Play
- Eye Contact
- Taking Turns

Activities include - rolling balls/cars down tubes, building towers with bricks, blowing bubbles, pretend play with a doll/teddy and tea set, puppets, singing songs...and much MUCH MORE!!

Places are limited and sessions are bookable for a 6 week block, so please contact the centre to book your place.

Cheeky Cherubs Support and Play Group

Support group for parents, grandparents and carers in Burtonwood and surrounding areas. Meeting Friday's at the Community Centre, Burtonwood 9.30-11.20am.

Cheerstorm

We are a Cheerleading club based in Warrington. We have teams for ages 5 to adult (boys and girls). We offer the possibility of joining a competition team which competes regionally and nationally or a performance team which displays at local community events.

Our goals are to help to develop skills, however, we also feel it is vital to promote and nurture friendships, leaderships skills and teamwork. All of which serve our athletes both in and out of the gym!!

Cherry Tree School Association

The PTA (The School Association) has two aims:

To organise social and educational events which cement relationships;
to organise activities which raise funds for the school which are used directly for the benefit of the children.

A committee of staff and parents is elected at the Annual General Meeting in the autumn term. All parents are eligible to be elected onto the committee. Regular information about the Association activities and events is sent via the half termly newsletter.

Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust

Carers Trust supports carers locally through a unique UK-wide network of 160 Network Partners. These are independent local services for carers of all ages, supporting people with any condition.

The services offered by each Network Partner varies but can include:

- Emotional and practical support for carers including providing care in the home to enable carers to take a break.
- Carers emergency services, offering help in a crisis.
- Outreach work in GP surgeries, hospital wards and schools to reach carers who haven’t come forward for support.
- Information and advice on issues such as benefits, grants and other help available.
- Giving carers a voice so that they are listened to by local decision makers.
- Helping carers to share experiences though group support and social activities.
- Access to education, training and employment.
- Supporting young carers through preventative, whole family work and clubs, activities and mentoring in schools.

Cheshire and Warrington Social Enterprise Partnership

Sub regional partnership aiming to represent social enterprises and support their development.

Cheshire Cheese Angling Club

We are a small pub-based fishing club from Latchford, founded at the Cheshire Cheese pub in 1962. We run a series of matches throughout the year on both stillwater and river venues around the North West including our own Mersey stretch.

The CCAC is open for membership and information is available using the contacts page. Alternatively we have monthly meetings at the Cheshire Cheese Pub in Latchford on the first Thursday of the month starting at 8pm.

Cheshire Community Foundation

Cheshire Community Foundation has at its heart, "Making Cheshire Better". We do 3 unique things that set us apart: inspire local philanthropy, build local endowment and invest money in local grass roots organisations. Cheshire Community Foundation helps people who want to give back to the places in which they live and do business by connecting them to the local community and helping them invest in that community in an intelligent and impactful way. We serve Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester and Warrington as a partner in philanthropy and a resource in community development.

Cheshire Connect

Cheshire Connect is a charity which helps local charities and voluntary
groups work with the business sector. It matches identified business skills
needs of 3rd sector organisations with Cheshire based businesses who provide
their skills for free. We work in Warrington through a Business Connector who
makes and oversees the business skills matches.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service

Cheshire Fire Authority comprises councillors from our local communities of Cheshire, Halton and Warrington who manage Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service. They make decisions on things like policy, finance and resources.

Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service is led by the Chief Fire Officer and the Service Management Team.

We have 25 fire stations, four community safety centres, three community fire protection offices and a headquarters in Winsford. And three new fire stations are currently being built in Penketh, Lymm and Mollington.

Cheshire Wildlife Trust

Cheshire wildlife trust is working towards its vision of "a Cheshire region richer in wildlife by 2020" and aims are to be Cheshire region's most active and influential wildlife champion. The charity's objectives are to:
- Stand up for wildlife and the environment;
- create and enhance wildlife havens;
- inspire people about the natural world;
- foster sustainable living.

Cheshire Youth United

Cheshire Youth United consists of nine uniformed youth organisations operating in Cheshire: Air Cadets, Army Cadets, Sea Cadets, The Boys’ Brigade, Fire Cadets, Police Cadets, Girl Guiding, Scouts and St John Ambulance Brigade.The aim and purpose of Cheshire Youth United is to bring together uniformed youth organisations to share good practice, experiences, resources and opportunities for the good of the young people they serve. Cheshire Youth United works to develop and deliver, with partners, a co-ordinated programme of activities that will enable the young people to achieve their full potential and enhance their employability.

Cheshire, Halton & Warrington Race and Equality Centre

CHAWREC was founded in 1995 originally as a Racial Equality Council. However, since then we have expanded into dealing with all areas of equality, although we still retain a specialism in race equality work.
Our objectives are to eliminate discrimination, especially racial discrimination and promote equality of opportunity and good relations.
Our main area of benefit is the area of old Cheshire, which comprises of the local authority areas of Cheshire West and Chester, Cheshire East, Warrington and Halton. However, some of our services also cover neighbouring areas like North Wales and our discrimination casework service is England and Wales wide.

Childminder Drop In Sessions - Westy Children's Centre

The Westy Children's Centre host a Childminder drop in session, Thursday 10-11.30am for registered childminders and their children. This is a great opportunity to network with peers and share activity ideas, for example, EYFS activities. Don't feel isolated come along and get involved.

Ciarans Cause

Ciarans Cause Charity is a non- profit charity to help raise funds to supply schools and sports clubs and community youth groups with defibrillators and free awareness training, so that they have the equipment ready to use in the vital first few minutes so that every young person has a fighting chance, if the unthinkable happens.

With the support and the generosity of people Ciarans Cause can continue our promise.

We aim to provide the advice people need for the problems they face and improve the policies and practices that affect people's lives.
We provide free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities.

Clock Tower Community Cafe

Community Cafe based in the Gateway supporting Cheshire and Warrington Carers Trust.

Contact the Elderly

Once a month each elderly guest is collected from their home by a volunteer driver and taken to a volunteer host's home where they join a small group for tea, chat and friendship. The group is welcomed by a different host each month but the guest and drivers remain the same. This ensures that over time acquaintances turn into friends and loneliness is replaced by companionship.
