Warrington Speak Up - Mental Health Engagement Worker

 

Part-time Fixed Term Vacancy - 21 hours a week

(£21,693 FTE NJC SPC 23)

This is an exciting opportunity to join Warrington Speak Up, a highly respected advocacy organisation, as a Mental Health Engagement Worker.

They are looking for a dynamic team player who will take a key role in developing and delivering Warrington Speak Up’s mental health engagement and involvement activity. In addition, you will be supporting the development of Warrington’s new Time to Change Hub. 

Job Summary

To actively engage with people who access a range of groups, services and mental health activities to establish their views and experiences on the services they receive.

To explore and evaluate prominent themes emerging through the engagement activity in order to evidence and inform service improvement.

To communicate with partners the work that is undertaken and promote positive collaboration and involvement with people with mental health needs in the design, development and improvement of services.

To support the new Warrington Time to Change Hub, and promote awareness of mental health through Time to Change Champions (people with a lived experience of mental health problems who campaign to end mental health discrimination)
